For An Ideal Trading Terminal :
A.Minimum Hardware Requirements for a PC :
- Intel Dual Core / Core 2 Duo CPU.
- Intel / Asus Motherboard Compatible with the CPU.
- 1 GB RAM.
- CD-ROM / DVD-ROM.
- SATA / IDE Hard Disk Drive: 80 GB or currently whatever available in the market.
- Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse as per individual choice.
B.Minimum Software Requirements for a PC :
- Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 3/Windows Vista.
- Windows Update of XP/VISTA with all recent critical patches from Microsoft Website.
- Licensed Antivirus viz. Quick Heal / Kaspersky etc. - Installation with regular virus definition updation.
- Winzip , Remote Administrator / Teamviewer / Show My PC/ Ammyy Admin.
- ODIN Trader Work Station ver. 9.1.0.5 / Diet Client ver. 9.1.0.5 (to be provided by us).
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS :
Dos :
- Use your PC only as a Trading Terminal
- Install only such Software’s needed for Trading Purpose.
- Keep your PC in a well ventilated place and not inside a closed enclosure so that it doesn’t gets heated up over a prolonged use.
- Your Computer’s hardware & O.S. Maintenance is solely your responsibility, so make sure that the Processor, Motherboard, Memory & Hard Disk are of such brands and configurations that it’ll give you an optimum performance when integrated as a unit. Further, at the time of installation of Operating System & Antivirus make sure those are Genuine and can be patched with latest critical updates and virus definitions.
Don’ts:
- Never install Computer Games (Online from Websites or from CDs’) in your Trading Terminal.
- Never use your Trading Terminal as a Multimedia Home PC.
- Never use your Trading Terminal for web surfing or for checking inappropriate websites. Take necessary caution while checking your web-mails or other trading related and important websites or search engines.
- Never open e-mails or attachments from unknown sources.
- Never overlook any O.S. related errors or Antivirus warnings. Instead take appropriate corrective actions to rectify the problems within reasonable time to continue getting optimum performance from your computer.
